My close friend, Anne Lutkus, who is a phenomenal cook from my hometown of Geneseo NY would make these for us every time we went back to visit. I would devour them and take a little bag of them in the car for the long drive home! Took me several years of practicing her recipe until they finally started tasting like Anne’s do. They MELT IN YOUR MOUTH and have just the right combination of sharp cheddar cheese, pecan and a bit of kosher salt. Perfect as an appetizer for any meal or as an afternoon (or morning or evening for that matter) snack!
